Stock can be enabled for Regular and Variable product modes. While the Booking mode utilizes availability calendar, and does not use this module.

Regular

When enabling the stock module for Regular product mode, the Manage stock switcher will show up on the submission form. The available options include setting available stock, SKU (Stock keeping unit) and optionally Limiting purchases to one item per order. This last option will remove the Quantity stepper in the product form.

Variable products

For variable products, the same options are available for individual variations instead of the entire product

Inventory reduction

The inventory is reduced when an order is approved.

It can happen that multiple users are purchasing the same product around the same time, while inventory is low. To ensure you don’t sell beyond what you have in your inventory in such cases, Voxel can perform an additional validation once payment is authorized.

This is defined by the Order approval settings under Product type ➝ Settings
