Orders (VX) widget shows product orders related to a user account, including orders placed by that user, or orders they received (if that user sells products). This widget should be placed in the Orders page in order to create the front-end order management page.

Customers

The widget shows product orders a customer has placed. Orders can be searched and sorted by order status and shipping status.

Different types of orders include different details that are made available to the customer, based on the type of product that was purchased

For example, when user purchases a downloadable product, after order is approved the downloadable files are made available to the user.

When customer places a booking product order, after order is approved the booked dates and additional actions can become available for the customer if enabled e.g rescheduling or canceling. These additional actions are shown after the order is approved.

Admin perspective

For admins, this widget displays orders received for products sold by the platform.

Note: The admin user must be selected in WP admin > Voxel > Settings > Notifications

In addition to the general order details, the widget provides additional actions for admin such as approving or declining orders, sharing files (downloadable products), fulfilling shipping (physical products), canceling or rescheduling appointments (booking products) and other actions based on the products being sold

Seller perspective

Voxel provides option for other users to become vendors on your site and sell products. This is made possible via Stripe Connect integration. In this example, the seller perspective when receiving orders for products they sell is similar to the admin perspective.
