The Follow functionality relates to the social activity in the Timeline (VX) widget

You can add the follow button to user profiles or posts.

When following someone, any status updates posted by them will display in your newsfeed.

How to add follow button

To add follow button, you can use the Action list (VX) widget.

The widget provides two actions related to following

• Follow post author
• Follow post

Follow post author is typically used in user profiles, while the Follow post action is used to follow individual posts

Displaying number of followers and following

Author followers:

Dynamic tags ➝ Author ➝ Followers

Author following:

Dynamic tags ➝ Author ➝ Following

Post followers:

Dynamic tags ➝ Post ➝ Followers
