The Booking product mode can be used to create bookable product based on

• Days (or Nights)
• Timeslots

The available modules for this mode are:

• Addons: Similar to the Regular product mode, addons can be enabled for the Booking mode aswell. An additional feature available in the Booking mode is defining whether the pricing is applied once or for each day in a booked day range
• Custom prices: Allows creating multiple sets of prices that are applied at different times based on various conditions. The custom prices can modify both product base price aswell as addon price

Settings

General settings for this mode can be configured in the Booking tab. Here you can choose if you want to enable bookable Days or Nights, or Timeslots. You can also enable the option for slots to be booked multiple times. Slots in this case references both modes.

Days/Nights booking

When Days or Nights booking is enabled, the following fields are available during post submission, in addition to Product Pricing fields and Product addons

1. Availability: Defines how far in advance you want to make this item bookable.
2. Buffer period: Lets you prevent last moment bookings by creating a buffer period which can be set based on days or hours
3. Quantity per day: This option is made available if the option “Slots can be booked multiple times” is enabled in back-end. In this case, multiple bookable slots are available for each day and this field lets you define the number of slots to make available
4. Dates are booked individually: By default, customers can book day ranges, with this option enabled, only a single date can be picked on the product form
5. Set minimum and maximum range length: When day ranges can be booked, you can require a minimum and maximum number of Days or Nights to be selected when customer submits a bookung.
6. Exclude days of week: Allows you to exclude certain days of the week from the availability calendar
7. Exclude specific dates: Allows you to exclude specific days in the availability calendar

Timeslots

When Timeslots are enabled, the following fields are available during post submission, in addition to Product Pricing fields and Product addons

1. Availability: Defines how far in advance you want to make this item bookable.
2. Buffer period: Lets you prevent last moment bookings by creating a buffer period which can be set based on days or hours
3. Quantity per slot: This option is made available if the option “Slots can be booked multiple times” is enabled in back-end. This field lets you define the number of times the same slot can be booked
4. Exclude days of week: Allows you to exclude certain days of the week from the availability calendar
5. Exclude specific dates: Allows you to exclude specific days in the availability calendar
6. Timeslots: Create schedules that apply to specific days of the week, and then generate or manually create timeslots for each schedule
